contrAA 800 (HR-CS AAS)

One continuous lamp for every element with access to any absorption line and its spectral neighborhood.

contrAA 800 is high-resolution continuum-source AAS with a xenon lamp, echelle optics and 200-pixel CCD over 185–900 nm for up to 72 elements.

contrAA 800 is high-resolution continuum-source AAS (HR-CS AAS). One xenon short-arc lamp replaces element-specific hollow-cathode lamps over 185–900 nm, opening alternate lines for up to 72 elements including nonmetals.

A fast sequential 380 mm echelle and quartz-prism/grating double monochromator feed a 200-pixel CCD. It measures the analytical line and its neighboring spectrum, allowing structured-background correction after acquisition. F offers flame/hydride, G graphite furnace/hydride, and D both with automatic atomizer switching. Solid AA and HydrEA are optional.
