SPECORD 50 PLUS

Entry-level Split Beam UV-Vis with 12,000 nm/min scanning and baseline noise at most 0.0001 A.

SPECORD 50 PLUS spans 190–1100 nm with fixed 1.4 nm slit, ±0.003 A visible photometric accuracy and Split Beam optics.

SPECORD 50 PLUS is Analytik Jena's entry UV-Vis with Split Beam Technology and a single monochromator. A continuously measured reference compensates lamp/electronic drift, supporting baseline noise at most 0.0001 A and long-term stability ±0.0005 A/h.

Its fixed 1.4 nm slit suits most broad solution absorption bands. It scans up to 12,000 nm/min, with 0.001 s minimum integration and 0.02 nm data steps. Photometric range is −3 to 3 A; accuracy is ±0.003 A visible and ±0.010 A UV. Halogen/deuterium lamps switch in a configurable 300–450 nm region, and two uncooled photodiodes detect light. A holmium oxide filter provides internal calibration.

Optional USP/Ph. Eur. validation and 21 CFR Part 11 electronic records are available, as are thermostated cell changers, an integrating sphere and a 116-position autosampler.
