Bruker BEAM is a single-point contactless process FT-NIR with RockSolid optics, Tri-Clamp mounting and redundant lamps.

BEAM is a single-point process FT-NIR for solid and semisolid materials, mounted directly on pipes, hoppers or conveyor lines. Unlike filter analyzers limited to selected wavelengths, it captures the full FT-NIR spectrum, allowing a new product or property to be addressed by recalibration without new hardware.

More than 250 scans per minute average moving material. Vibration-resistant RockSolid corner-cube optics suit plant floors. Dual light sources switch to the backup if one fails, keeping monitoring online.

Mounting options include hygienic Tri-Clamp flanges, adjustable brackets and a laboratory stand with rotating table for method development before transfer to production. Feed applications include moisture, oil/fat, protein, fiber, ash, ADF, NDF and amino acids; polymers include density, viscosity, crosslinking, stabilizer and monomer; pharmaceutical uses include blending and API drying endpoint. Unlike multi-point MATRIX-F II, BEAM measures one point without fiber or a multiplexer.
