D8 QUEST

Everyday single-crystal chemical crystallography with entirely air-cooled operation.

D8 QUEST uses FIXED-CHI or KAPPA goniometry, microfocus sources and a PHOTON IV detector up to 140 cm².

D8 QUEST is a single-crystal diffractometer for routine chemical crystallography. Entirely air-cooled operation removes the need for an external water loop. FIXED-CHI and KAPPA four-axis goniometers provide a sphere of confusion below 7 µm. Sealed-tube and IµS microfocus sources use Cu, Mo or Ag anodes; PHOTON IV collects the diffraction data. Cryogenic attachments reach 28 K. Dual-source setups are directed to D8 VENTURE.
