Fully integrated DART on a triple quadrupole: rapid analysis without chromatography and conventional LC-MS on one instrument.

EVOQ DART-TQ+ combines an integrated DART source, 1,000 MRM transitions per second and scan speeds up to 30,000 Da/s.

EVOQ DART-TQ+ is a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer with an integrated Direct Analysis in Real Time (DART) source. According to Bruker, it is the first and only system in its class with a fully integrated DART source.

The instrument supports two workflows. For rapid screening without chromatography, a sample enters a stream of excited helium or nitrogen species, is desorbed and ionized, and yields results within seconds, without a column, solvents or sample preparation. Conventional LC-MS is available when separation is required. Switching between integrated DART and the VIP-HESI source takes seconds.

The system handles 1,000 MRM transitions per second and scans at up to 30,000 Da/s. The EDR detector adjusts gain on the fly to extend dynamic range; the lens-free ion path and curved collision cell reduce chemical noise. tqControl includes a library of more than 3,000 MRM transitions. An ECO version halves energy consumption.
