IFS 125HR

Line widths below 0.0009 cm⁻¹ separate highly complex spectra into discrete molecular lines.

Bruker IFS 125HR covers 5 to over 50,000 cm⁻¹ with two sample compartments, four sources, six detectors and 24-bit DigiTect electronics.

IFS 125HR is Bruker's ultra-high-resolution FT-IR for resolving very complex spectra into individual lines. Its resolvable line width below 0.0009 cm⁻¹ is an order of magnitude finer than the best benchtop systems.

At this resolution, rotational structure within vibrational bands becomes visible for molecular constant determination, fundamental spectroscopy, atmospheric work and astrophysics. Precise optics produce symmetric line shapes, avoiding instrument-function distortions of measured line parameters.

Absorption and emission modes span 5 cm⁻¹ in far IR to more than 50,000 cm⁻¹ in UV. Two sample compartments access four sources and six detectors, and spectral regions can be changed without breaking vacuum. Detector-integrated DigiTect electronics use 24-bit converters and Ethernet.
