M6 JETSTREAM

Bring the scanner to large objects: map 80 × 60 cm without a chamber or sample-size limit.

M6 JETSTREAM maps large horizontal or vertical objects with 100–500 µm spots and XFlash detectors.

M6 JETSTREAM is a scanning micro-XRF for nondestructive elemental analysis of large objects. Its head moves over a stationary object rather than enclosing it, removing the sample-size limit. It scans 80 × 60 cm surfaces, including vertical artworks and artifacts tilted up to ±10°; the instrument can be brought to the object.

Five selectable spot sizes cover 100–500 µm. The stage moves up to 100 mm/s for on-the-fly mapping from 1 ms per pixel. XFlash silicon-drift detectors have 30 or 60 mm² active area, with dual detection to 2 × 60 mm².
