MOBILE-IR II

Bruker MOBILE-IR II is a portable FT-IR with thermoelectrically cooled MCT, IP65 housing and heated diamond ATR.

MOBILE-IR II is a portable Bruker FT-IR for on-site substance identification, warehouse and incoming-goods QC, and forensic drug analysis. Bruker describes its performance as laboratory grade.

Its thermoelectrically cooled MCT detector avoids the liquid nitrogen normally required by MCT in portable use. Bruker claims half the measurement time and twice the signal-to-noise ratio of DTGS detectors.

The RockSolid interferometer and diode laser are rated above ten years, and the CenterGlow source above five years. The instrument is IP65, the transport case IP67 and an internal high-capacity battery displays charge level. Heated diamond ATR or a flat unheated plate is available. OPUS TOUCH controls the instrument.
