Fat, protein, lactose and solids in liquid dairy products with ISO 21543/IDF 201:2020 validated methods.

Bruker MOVE-T uses a 1000 µm quartz flow cell, switchable homogenizer and pump, Autogain and dairy method packages.

MOVE-T is a compact benchtop FT-NIR dedicated to liquid dairy products from raw milk to processed goods and premixes. Its 1000 µm optical path is much longer than mid-IR dairy analyzers, letting viscous cream, yogurt and concentrates pass without clogging.

The 2-in-1 feed selects a homogenizer or peristaltic pump in software. A wear-free quartz flow cell has an IR temperature sensor in its heater block. Automatic background measurement occurs with the cell in a fixed position. Autogain adjusts to different product matrices without manual retuning. The sealed lamp has an average three-year service life.

Methods measure total solids, fat, protein, lactose, salt and product-dependent properties and are developed and validated to ISO 21543 and IDF 201:2020. Precalibrated application packages can be refined locally.
