Quantify over 350 gases without target-gas calibration using a heated 5 m cell in a 19-inch rack.

OMEGA 5 offers a 5 m cell heated to 191 °C, TE-MCT, better than 2 cm⁻¹ resolution and pressure options to 15 bar.

OMEGA 5 is a rack-mounted FT-IR gas analyzer for continuous multicomponent gas measurements. OPUS GA quantifies over 350 compounds from reference spectra without a calibration-gas measurement for each analyte; new components can be added in software.

The 5 m multipass cell gives ppm-level sensitivity (10 ppm stated for water) in a compact housing. Heating to 191 °C prevents condensation of water and high-boiling compounds on mirrors. A thermoelectrically cooled MCT detector needs no liquid nitrogen for around-the-clock operation. Vibration-resistant RockSolid optics and long-life CenterGlow source support process use.

Standard absolute cell pressure is up to 2 bar, or 15 bar in a high-pressure version at temperatures to 30 °C. Resolution is better than 2 cm⁻¹, optionally better than 1 cm⁻¹. Applications include process and waste gases, emissions and complex mixtures.
