Q8 MAGELLAN

The range’s only photomultiplier model: 750 mm vacuum optics from 110 nm and nonmetallic-inclusion analysis.

Q8 MAGELLAN covers 110–800 nm with up to 128 photomultiplier channels and Single Spark Evaluation.

Q8 MAGELLAN is the stand-alone top spark OES for primary-metal production QC. Unlike the benchtop array-detector models, its 750 mm Paschen-Runge holographic optics are under vacuum and use photomultipliers exclusively, avoiding optical argon purge and targeting the lowest detection limits. It covers 110–800 nm with up to 128 channels chosen from more than 200.

Single Spark Evaluation detects nonmetallic inclusions, including oxides and sulfides. Matrix packages cover steels, cast iron, high-purity copper, aluminum/magnesium, nickel/cobalt, lead/tin/zinc, copper/titanium and precious metals by request. ArgonStop stops gas use between analyses.
