TANGO II

Results in under a minute without sample preparation, often through glass containers.

TANGO II offers reflection and transmission versions, about 10 mm reflection spots, 20–80 °C sample control and a 17-language interface.

TANGO II is a benchtop FT-NIR for routine QC in laboratories or near production lines. FT-NIR needs no reagents, solvents or gases and often measures directly through glass containers; results arrive in under one minute.

Reflection uses a gold-coated integrating sphere for solids and semisolids, with an approximately 10 mm spot and optional sample rotation to average heterogeneity. Transmission analyzes liquids with a standard active heater/cooler set from 20 to 80 °C and a separate vial-temperature sensor. Temperature control matters because water bands shift with temperature and destabilize liquid calibrations.

The 17-language interface runs on an optional 13-inch touch-panel PC or standard computer. Lamp and desiccant cartridge change in seconds. Typical power use is 40 W. Applications include food and beverages, feed and pet food, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemicals, petrochemicals and polymers.
