timsTOF HT is an ion mobility mass spectrometer with a fourth-generation TIMS-XR analyser and 14-bit digitiser for high-throughput proteomics.

timsTOF HT combines a fourth-generation TIMS-XR ion mobility analyser with increased charge capacity and improved signal digitisation. The manufacturer positions it for high-throughput proteomics experiments where dynamic range and quantitative consistency are essential.

The analyser's high charge capacity and 14-bit digitiser extend the dynamic range. This is useful for plasma proteomics and other samples with a wide spread of protein abundances. The stated performance is more than 7,000 protein groups with a five-minute gradient, with sample loads of up to 1,600 ng.

PASEF, dia-PASEF and prm-PASEF acquisition modes support both deep untargeted analysis and targeted quantification. Sequencing rates reach 300 Hz, while the dual TIMS-XR duty cycle exceeds 150 Hz.
