Hydra IIC

Direct mercury analysis without acid digestion: burn a solid or liquid sample and avoid hazardous waste.

Hydra IIC uses direct combustion and cold-vapor absorption for solids and liquids to EPA 7473.

Hydra IIC burns a solid or liquid sample directly and detects mercury by cold-vapor atomic absorption. This avoids time-consuming acid digestion, possible loss of volatile Hg and the resulting hazardous waste. It follows EPA Method 7473 and belongs to the historic Teledyne Leeman Labs range.
