Measure heat capacity, transition temperatures, thermal diffusivity, thermal conductivity and behaviour during heating.
How the analysis is performed
DSC and TGA characterise transitions and mass change. Laser flash analysis measures thermal diffusivity; conductivity is calculated using density and heat capacity or measured by a suitable steady-state method.
